Where can I find Smokeye Hill Whiskey?

Smokeye Hill Whiskey is currently distributed in CA, CO, AZ, NV, WA, TX, and GA. While we work to expand into more states, you can find us through the “Get Yourself to a Liquor Store” section on our site or order nationwide from our online retail partners.

Where can I purchase Smokeye Hill Whiskey online?

Smokeye Hill has proudly partnered with Seelbach’s, Spirits Network, and Keg N Bottle to allow customers to purchase our products nationwide. You may also find us on the websites of many of our other retail partners.

Do you offer private barrel selections?

Smokeye HIll is handmade in small batches. Due to this process, our inventory is too scarce to provide private barrels at this time. As we continue to grow, private barrels will be available in the future.

What is the Smokeye Hill mash bill?

Smokeye Hill Whiskey is made with a proprietary blend of premium heirloom blue corn, yellow corn, rye, and malted barley.

Do you source your whiskey?

We worked closely with our trusted partners to develop a one-of-a-kind mash bill, custom distilled exclusively for Smokeye Hill. We receive the raw, unaged distillate and barrel it ourselves in Colorado Springs, where it matures for a minimum of five years before bottling.

Why Colorado Springs?

In our quest to make world class whiskey, Colorado’s unique environment provides optimal aging. Significant hot and cold cycles provide incredible integration with the barrel staves, expanding and contracting for every last drop of flavor.

What is Smokeye Hill’s Small Batch Process?

Since we utilize numerous barrel chars in a very specific way to achieve the signature Smokeye Hill flavor, we dump 10-13 barrels at a time as this works best for our mashbill. We use predominantly 30-gallon barrels so our process requires more barrels than most. The final proof may vary according to the selected barrels, but only slightly.

Where can I find my Batch Number?

On our Barrel Proof whiskeys, you will find your bottle’s batch sticker on the back of your bottle. Our very first release in 2024 does not have a batch sticker, but on later vintages you will find the white label with the middle number indicating the year that specific bottle was barreled and the last digit indicating the batch number.

Where does your blue corn come from?

Smokeye Hill sources only the finest quality grains available, and our partners maintain rigorous quality standards to ensure consistency and purity. As a result, the origin of the grains may vary.

Does Smokeye Hill contain any additives?

No. Smokeye Hill is additive free.

How should I store my whiskey to keep it fresh?

To preserve your Smokeye Hill Whiskey, store the bottle upright in a cool, dry place and keep it tightly sealed to prevent any oxidation.
